Trevor Wood's Routes

1960's Waterloo Suburban Lines v1.0

This is a joint effort between myself and Colin Green. The route represents the Waterloo suburban line as far as Hampton Court and also the line via Feltham to Windsor & Eton in the 1950’s and 60’s. It is not perfect but as accurate as I could make it from maps, photos and distant memories.

Many assets have been specially created by Colin Green (Wotawally).

This pack includes a good selection of Scenarios and Quick Drives. More scenarios will be made available on this site shortly.

A very big thank you must go to Mark Brinton who overhauled all the signalling so that it is correct for the era, and also made some important corrections to the track – especially between Clapham Junction and Vauxhall.

The long term intention is to extend the route to cover further suburban lines around Waterloo.

Casterbridge to Stourhead (V1.1) - Steam, and Casterbridge to Stourhead Third Rail (V1.0) Routes

(These routes are also available at UKTS)

Casterbridge to Stourhead (V1.1)
This update includes a few tweaks to the signalling, name boards for the stations and signal boxes and one or two new scenarios. Although fictitious, the route provides plenty of opportunity for interesting scenarios and lots of variations for main line running. I wanted to create a route which embodied lots of options for a variety of scenarios with both industrial and rural scenery.
The route includes a mini version of Waterloo, flying/burrowing junctions, 3 other termini, 3 goods yards, an Oil Terminal and a busy Airport. There's a fair opportunty for trains to get some speed up. Depending on the route taken from end to end, a journey of up to 20 miles can be achieved.
The route is also Quick Drive enabled so any stock can be run if required.
I hope users will enjoy the variety of running it allows.

Casterbridge to Stourhead Third Rail (V1.0)
As before, the route provides plenty of opportunity for interesting scenarios and lots of variations for main line running. There is a short additional single track branch loop to simplify turning goods trains away from Casterbridge otherwise it's the same route as before. Hopefully users will find lots of options to create a variety of scenarios through the industrial and rural scenery. As before the route includes a mini version of Waterloo, flying/burrowing junctions, 3 other termini, 3 goods yards, an Oil Terminal and a busy Airport.
